The Work:
- Architect and Develop new web applications in Python / Django
- Develop APIs
- Architect and implement systems for reporting
- Build reporting UI’s to big data applications (similar look to Tableau)
- Work closely with clients and internal program managers for design and development of applications
- Continuous Integration (testing)
- Working with large code basis (big data)
The Experience:
- 5-8 years of architecture level development experience
- Senior level Python, *SQL, and JavaScript experience
- Experience with Django or Flask
- Experience with databases (i.e. MySQL, SQL, postgreSQL, Oracle)
- Strong understanding DevOps
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Ability to manage and communicate data warehouse plans to a non-technical audience
- Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g. Highcharts, Altair, Plotly)
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and Looker
- Computer Science Degree (4 year)
